Checking In

I have recieved emails and phone calls of concerned friends because I haven’t posted in a while, so I thought I’d let you know that I’m still here and I’m okay.  Yeah, I’ve been a little down, but nothing to worry about.  The biggest reason I haven’t posted is that I just haven’t been too inspired.  I hate it when I feel like my blog has become this mundane account of what’s going on around my house.  Bleh.  I don’t find it interesting, so why should you?

The second reason I haven’t posted is that Laural got me all addicted to Weff Riddles.  We’re just about to the end of Batch Four.  One batch to go.  I hate it.  However, I have to see this through.  I don’t know why.  I guess I have to prove to myself that I can do this, I have something of a brain in my head, and that I can actually finish something.

So, that’s what’s going on.  I’m not extra depressed or overwhelmed with my life right now.  Okay, I might be feeling a little blah and I’m pretty much always overwhelmed, but I’m pretty used to it.  I’m just uninspired and will start to write again soon.  Keep me in line, my friends.  I’ll be back.  Soon.

  1. I have been feeling EXACTLY the same way until the past few days. You take the time you need…we will always check in, again and again and again…you get the drift. HUGZ!

    K.

  2. Thanks for checking in with us, I’m glad to hear there’s been no major catastrophe. Do what you have to do, but know that we’re thinking of you, and we miss you. You’ll get your groove back, soon.

  3. We’ve all got the blahs around here too for some reason. I was reading some Edgar Allen Poe at the book store the other day and wanted to slit my wrists. I just try to get out and stay away from Poe. Hopefully the blahs will go!

  4. What ARE weff riddles? You referred to it earlier today with Laurel, and I thought it was some in joke from yers ago…

Personally, I don’t care if you feel inspired by the writing muse, or if you are just talking about daily life. That’s why I read your blog–because being so far away in miles, I feel closer somehow, with the blogging.

And I enjoy hearing about your friends lives and kids, too. And I watch the boys across the backyard from me–they’d fit right in with yours.

  5. The way you describe how you feel seems like the way I feel too. Except for today. Today seems worse for some reason. I think I’ll stay away from weff riddles. I’m sure I’d get addicted too.
